- Best Gypsy Swing band on the continent

BELTUNER is a genuine musical alchemy; four musicians, four instruments that, through the sorcery of rythmes and melodies become a hundred ; you never get bored with BELTUNER, the repertory is too engaging, too bewitching for not succumbing ; in turns, the diabolical rythmes of gypsy musics, the pompe manouche – gypsy slide, the waltz's whirl or the nostalgia of the ballades from Eastern Europe or tango drags you into a world of feast, emotions, joy and escape ; when there are playing, you get immersed in a film and become its actors ; the musicians of BELTUNER are comfortables everywhere ; their sincerity, energy and will of sharing with the audience an unique moment makes each concert, each piece a new adventure for everybody.
The four fellows met in Paris where they had scoured the concert halls and bars. Now, they regularly appear in concert halls, theatres, festivals, in France, abroad, in the provinces and still in Paris – Paris, where the colour of the band takes its place like anywhere else, the streets ans the walls of the city still vibrate and reply to the sound of swing.
Heirs of Django and other famous gypsy musicians, Jo Privat or even Astor Piazzolla, the musicians of BELTUNER keep today with pride the spirit of those musics, vivids and deeps. Particulary in France, they also brought a new breath to the popular accordion and 'musette' music with their fresh way of playing - stressing the gypsy influence, making a constant place for the improvisation, bringing own compositions and including in the play numerous influences. They contribute to make younger a style and an instrument that were getting down through the 20 past years.
Anyway they don't wait to be on stage for spreeding their universe around them, as soon as they have the opportunity, they take their instruments out and give to the present the colours of another time.
