John runs a monthly funk/soul night called "The Get Back" at the Icehouse Lounge (650 S. Main Street) in downtown Las Vegas that pulls roughly 800-1,000 people. Past guests have included funk legend Jimmy Castor as well as deejays Eothan "Egon" Alapatt, Miami Max, Big Tony and Phoreyz.
